Part of the Learning at Home series by Asia Art Archive, ‘What did I clean today?’ is an exercise developed during the pandemic. Coming to terms with the sudden lockdown imposed in India at the onset of the crisis, this exercise explores disruption and changes in everyday life, the gendered nature of domestic labour and social issues like a mass exodus of migrants from the city due to sudden loss of livelihood & human imprint on ecology through the act of cleaning. All these aspects are inter-related.
