Punctuation marks have a unique role to play in a sentence. Their usage aids in the understanding and correct reading of written text whether reading aloud or silently. However, where do they transport us when encountered without the company of words? In their assigned roles, are we exiled in our ways of being? In these drawings, I was trying to map my mind while visually examining the fourteen punctuation marks listed in English grammar.
